About me

Me reflected in a mirror

James Corner: a middle aged Yorkshireman fond of photography, walking and the countryside.

I started my first blog in 2012 as a convenient way to keep family and friends informed of my progress during an eight week long walk; the length of England from Land’s End to the Scottish border near Berwick-upon-Tweed. (See LEBUT 2012)  Having two daughters living hundreds of miles away, a wide group of friends dotted around the country and not being a fan of social networking sites, I started Country Corners on my return to share a few experiences and observations with friends and family.
